Fortuna

Welcome to Fortuna.net. Not much going on here at all. This domain was acquired by me as my last name is Fortuna. I am from the Fortuna family that is mostly located in Minnesota. Currently I just use it for personal e-mail. If anyone else in the family wants email address or just to say hi, drop me an e-mail steve@ this domain dot net. At some point I'd like to build a website talking about all things Fortuna.

It's great to be able to own my family name.net. The nature of domains is that there is a limited supply, and to be able to own my name now and forever is awesome. Heck, searching Google for "fortuna" returns 85 million results. Definitely some competition for a domain like this. I am pretty happy I was able to secure this domain for my own personal use.

For now I'll just list a couple interesting Fortuna topics:

• Greek Goddess - Fortuna was the goddess of fortune and luck in the Roman religion.
• Fortuna, CA - Fortuna is a city in California. The giant redwoods are a big attraction.
• Fortuna Company - This company Fortuna "specializes in development and delivery of wireless embedded solutions on various mobile hardware platforms".
• Fortuna software - Developed by Trivium located in the Netherlands, Fortuna is software designed to streamline legal, administrative, and financial processes. Big thanks to these guys for parting with the domain to me at a fair price.
• Fortuna.org - This website seems to be about the same thing as fortuna.net. Small personal site with the domain mainly used for e-mail.
